About the Project
Caught in the Web is intended to enable learners of all ages and from all perspectives to appreciate the rich cultural and historical diversity of Torbay through a series of dynamic, themed, multimedia learning packages based on a selection of local historical, archaeological and architectural treasures.
Caught in the Web is currently creating and adding images and descriptive content in all of the themes, with an anticipated completion date of August 2003.
"Caught in the Web" is intended to showcase "bytes" of Torbay's past - historical, archaeological and architectural treasures from archives and buildings around the Torbay area digitised as wonderful images and articles.
If you wish to continue your research on a particular theme we have some links to other websites.
