The Palm House
This octagonal cast iron and glass palm house linked the Wigwam to the rotunda. It was originally known as the Winter Garden and it featured a circular gallery at first floor level that connected with the main house.It was about 70 ft wide by 60ft high. The building had a life of only about thirty years. It was built c 1877 but was removed during Paris Singer's remodelling,1904-07.
