The Church Bells Ring Out 'Abide With Me'
All Saints Church was rebuilt in 1907, with the support of local fishing families, as a memorial to its first and much-loved vicar, Henry Francis Lyte. A carillion of bells plays Lyte's hymns throughout the day, and 'Abide With Me' echoes over the ancient harbour during the still of the evening.
